Dark Techno tutorial part2

Making Dark Techno part 2

Hello people today i will be showing you how to make a dark techno riff. If you have not seen part 1 of how to make dark techno then go here I know its been 6 years since i made that dark trance tutorial but the same things apply in this techno tutorial but, what we will be doing different is using f-minor for that dark and erie sound.

 Lets make the sound

You can use this sound sound for your main riff,a intro,a breakdown whatever so here goes.Like i said earlier this sound will focus on f minor. So the notes we will be using are F,G,A -flat,B flat,C and Dflat Without any hesitation watch the video below on my youtube.

If you would rather not watch the video then read my instructions: Create a 303 arp Use only triads make sure the I chord is f-minor Then make sure you go in downward motion I hope you enjoyed my tutorial .

Dark Techno and House was one of my earlier influences before i got into trance

Dark Techno music besides trance is one of my favorites to produce. And has been one of my influences growing up in the 80s. As you know techno and dark techno are a derivative of house music and house music was very prevalent in the 80s and 90s . While Dark techno is not played on the radio as much these days it still is in the underground clubs.

Do not forget to leave me some comments on some of your techno productions id love to hear them.

For quite a while I was into freestyle in the 80s. Then all of the sudden something came over me and I just fell in love with  techno for some reason and of course the progressive house/trance movement in the middle to late nineties. I used to be a clubkid I would go to all the clubs  from limelight, tunnel, sound factory, tequila Joes, loop lounge, shelter, temptations,Bahama mamas, lana lounge just to name a few as you can see I pretty much a club kid. I think I was the only guy in the club who was not high as I only went there for the music and to dance! Sure guys came up to me and asked me if I needed anything but ,I just said no! The truth is you’ve allready heard it millions ,countless times already . You just may not have been producing or composing or arranging at the time so it was not that clear to you. Every song you hear  today on the radio in the clubs at a concert utilizes a form of call and response. The question and the answer The most common one is the question ...
