Are you having trouble making your first trance track? Have you made a trance track and it just sounds terrible all the keys are off or you are in the wrong key,the wrong scale. Maybe you  are having trouble with harmony or chord progression. Maybe it is something else you are having difficulties with creating your trance track. Well if you are having trouble you have come to the right place. I have been making music for years now and im h ear to show you how. I have been there too when i first made my first track i was so happy to upload it. once i did i got a rude awakening that my track was not  ready and i had a lot to learn. So i know what you are going through. Afterall  i made this video just for you. Yes for you the newbie! Yes i want you to learn so do watch the video.

Making Trance from start to finish



Hello people i finally have published my trance tutorial. You can finally see my workflow on how i make trance. You may just learn a thing or two! My aim is to teach newbies or anyone who wants to learn . Some info in this tutorial may be known by producers who have been producing a while. So if you been producing for a few years or months this tutorial is not for you.


                            What is in the video

In the video oi go over everything from scratch . I start with finding your percussion,building programming the drum loop and percussion,programming the 303. Programming the rolling bassline. programming  the arpeggios . The pad, the main riff,programming the automation and so forth. The only thing i left out was fx and programming fills. As i did not want the video to be like 2 and half hours then have an epic 15 minute trance track at the end. i wanted to  keep the video as short as possible. Anyone uploading a 25 minute video of how to produce trance from start to finish may be leaving a lot out. Or he may have done a lot of stuff behind the scenes . Me i leave nothing behind as i want you to learn.

So if you need to know how to make any of the sounds in the video so you can follow along  check out some of my earlier blogs below


If you have some sounds already or you are just going to use some default presets to follow along in the tutorial it is all up to you if you need to see these earlier blogs.  I just thought it would be a good idea to have you head over to some of these earlier blogs to create these sounds first in Ableton 

Once you get good you may want to have your own sound library of samples ready to be used at a moments notice. It can sometimes take forever to get the sound you want. Instead of doing that and going through that each and every time. The solution is just do it once and save it as a group.
