You should be using  Phrygian mode to make your techno beats.   Hey people i have been seeing lots of newbies online make track after track in the same key. Same scale, same chord progression. You have to get out off that same old rut of doing things the same things all the time. After a while your music will be boring and pretty much lifeless.   So i made this video of me making a techno beat in phrygian mode to show you what you can do when you think outside the box. When you get away from the normal natural minor and natural major scales and reach outside the box you just may actually learn something, and most of all breathe new life into your music.   So watch the video below.
